The Santa Clara Sporting U11 Girls went undefeated into the Championship game with 12 goals for and only 1 against. The girls dominated in the finals. They had 18 shots on goal in the finals but only managed to find the net once for the 1 – 0 win against Central Valley Mercury. They had rematch against Central Valley in league play the following weekend and beat them 5 – 1.
Congratulations to the U11 girls and their 2009 Orange Bowl Championship. Next stop, Cal Cup!!!
