Santa Cruz County Soccer Club is hosting their 8th annual Breakers Cup Tournament on August 1st and 2nd. Last year our girls won their division Scoring 19 goals while allowing only 1. Our schedule can be found here, while the whole bracket schedule/standings are here.

Our first game is scheduled for Saturday at 9:30AM on the Sky Park field #3. All of our games for this tournament are at this venue. Clicking on the link below the map will open a larger map where you can then further click through for driving directions. (Haven’t figured out how to force the directions to come up, yet…) Directions are basically 17 South towards Santa Cruz, take the Mount Herman Rd exit to the right (NE) and then turn right on Kings Village Rd.

Our girls played fantastically! The won all three bracket games against some great opponents and then beat the other bracket to win the tournament. They scored 12 goals while allowing only 1. This is their first time winning the same tournament in consecutive years. Great job girls, great job coaches!!

OMG – Look at last years picture of the girls with their Breaker’s Cup! How small and young do they look. Let’s hope the girls bring all their momentum and confidence from Surf Cup and defend their Breaker’s Cup title!
