Victorious!! A hard fought battle, but our girls came through 1-0. Back to back championships for them in this tournament. Also, congrats to our Soccer Sisters winning their division too!! Go Sporting!!
Game 3 Win!! 2-0 at the half both goals by SM. Second half they countered making it 2-1 but we quickly countered on a direct kick by RG that was beautifully finished by HG and that was the result 3-1. We go to the final to face Mustang Xplosion. Also our sister team (White) is going to the final in their bracket vs East Diablo Xplosion. Go Sporting!
I wasn’t able to attend the second game so I can only let you know the final score.

First game of the tournament was a win!! At half time the game was scoreless. Fairly quickly into the second half SM sent a nice ball in that HG headed beautifully into the net. A few minutes later SM launched one towards the net that the goalie did a superb job of deflecting out. Sporting failed to convert on the corner. Undaunted, SM again got the ball at about the 18, took a slight touch and launched it into the back of the net. Late in the game Heat threatened and RH did a great job getting the ball and keeping them scoreless! Go Sporting. Next game in a few hours, time to cool off.
